Messler Products Company is a well tooled machine shop and fabrication facility
and now located in Cottage Grove Oregon. We are dedicated to Classic
cars, high performance cars, 4x4's and Street Rodding. We design and build
(in house) custom high performance electronic fuel injection
systems, turbo charging systems, street rod and high performance car
suspension systems, exhaust systems, frames (complete rolling chassis),
custom rearends, disc brake kits and more. We can custom build a complete
rolling chassis for just about any non standard one of a kind car, (this
is our specialty). We have a full service department for repair and maintenance.
We stock and sell parts and accessories related to the building of a high
performance street car, street rod, classic or custom car.

with, highly professional welding, metal fabrication, and machine work for

We are a manufacturer of independent front suspension systems, parallel 4-link
rear suspension and complete rolling frames. Custom built rear ends for any
car. Custom built computerized electronic fuel injection systems and turbocharger
systems. Vintage Air air conditioning, steering columns, steering u-joints
and shafts, wiring kits, disc brake kits, Moser axles, rear end components,
(gears, posi tracs, bearing kits, brake shoes, brake drums, etc.), coil over
shocks, power windows, keyless entry systems and a lot more. We sell car
construction products. If you can’t buy it we can make it!
Cottage Grove is a beautiful little town with a population
of 8500. It's located 18 miles south of Eugene, near mile post 174
directly on Interstate 5. We are in the brand new City of Cottage Grove
Industrial Park. It's just 3/4 of a mile south of town, on hwy
99 near mile post 16. Highway 99 is just west of and parallels Interstate
5.

About Jim Messler and Messler Products LLC
Jim Messler, after attending electronics school, has spent his entire
career, beginning in the early 60's, in machine shops and fabrication shops,
designing and building simple and complex parts. This time was spent
designing, machining, fabricating and welding things together. Jim
worked in product design and evaluation, in research and development
and in the 70's served as the chief race mechanic in a factory racing
effort for a large corporation.
Messler Performance Products was started in 1975 and in 1982 the name was
changed to Messler Products Company. In the past 40 plus years, Jim
Messler has accumulated a lot of experience doing what he does, designing,
producing and manufacturing fine machined, fabricated and welded,
complex metal parts assemblies.
In order to produce quality street rod frames and suspension systems you
must have knowledge of the mechanics and physics that act upon them. It requires
an understanding of caster, camber, steering axis inclination, scrub radius,
camber change curves, instant center location, roll centers, center of gravity
height, bump steer, Ackerman theory, antidive, and antisquat. You must understand
their properties, how they relate to each other, what happens if one is changed
and how that change affects the whole system.
We have this knowledge.
You must have powerful computers with cad programs for accurate product design.
In todays world, this is a must. It takes milling machines, lathes, hydraulic
mandrel tubing benders, hydraulic presses, horizontal and vertical band saws,
drill presses, grinders, belt sanders, numerous power and hand tools, late
model state of the art welding equipment, fixtures, frame jigs, clamping
devices and precise measuring equipment.
We have these tools and the ability to use them.
